Does it deliver?

The Double Room with a sea view was spotless, and the evening meals were freshly prepared and delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.

The property felt quite run down. The poor bathroom and thin walls made sleeping difficult, as noise from neighboring rooms was quite intrusive.

The location was fantastic with an incredible sea view. The room was warm, cozy, and well-equipped with a flat-screen TV and kettle. The staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely fabulous with great vegan options. I loved the cocktails at the bar too!

The restaurant offered a delightful atmosphere, perfect for enjoying meals with friends. The clean, accessible areas made it easy for everyone to navigate, especially for us seniors. The breakfast was a highlight, delicious and plentiful!

More comfortable seating in public areas would help.

Lovely sea view from the room. The kids enjoyed the children's playground. Seating in public areas feels a bit cramped. Dining options were fantastic and service was really friendly.

I really enjoyed staying at the Sands in Burntisland. The sea view from my room was stunning. The bed felt incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety and the haggis stood out as the best I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and eager to help. I noticed a musty smell in the wardrobe in my room, and the decoration in the common areas felt a bit outdated. It would be nice to have the upholstery refreshed. my experience was quite pleasant despite a few minor issues.

We had a cozy stay with a delightful breakfast that included a full range of choices and a comfortable, well-kept room. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed the beach access too. The only downside was that some areas felt a bit dated, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

The food was decent. had a great sea view from our room, it was really nice to watch the lights of edinburgh at night. the location near the beach was also a plus, we enjoyed walking along the shoreline. breakfast was tasty and fast every morning, loved it!

but we were super disappointed with the state of the room, it definitely needs some upgrades. also, the walls were thin and we heard everything from the next room, which was really annoying.

Had a fantastic breakfast with the full Scottish, especially the haggis! The soup was amazing, too. Can't believe how affordable everything was. Would absolutely return!

Breakfast was included and had everything from fresh pastries to a full menu. The restaurant served great meals, and it was nice to have a beer garden for sunny days. Lovely sea view, too!

The Burntisland Sands Hotel features beautiful decor and is exceptionally accessible for seniors, making it easy to navigate. I truly appreciated the warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel, including the lovely garden and terrace areas.

We found the service in the dining room to be very slow.

Had a lovely meal with my partner at the Sands. The food was delicious, especially the fish and sticky toffee pudding. the staff were a bit disorganized, as we had to wait longer than expected to place our order. a good experience with room for improvement.
